SNAP Exam Overview
Symbiosis National
Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common and
mandatory written test for the admission to all the Post-Graduate Programs of
Symbiosis International University. However, it is only the first step. In
addition, a candidate has to undergo the selection process of the desired
Institute to qualify for the admission. A student aspiring to take higher
studies at Symbiosis International University needs to do the following:
Addressing the
outstanding demand from the student community, SIU has started with effect from
last year commence an additional test for non-MBA Courses as follows:
SNAP Registration and Eligibility
Eligibility
1.
Graduate from any
statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent grades are
used) at graduation level.
2.
Candidates passing
degree examination by Open University, part time/ distance learning/
correspondence/ open school/ externally or in one sitting are not eligible.
3.
Students who are in
the final year of their bachelor’s degree education may also apply.
4.
Admission of such
candidate will be provisional and will be cancelled in the event of non
fulfillment of the stated criteria.
Registration
The following are the steps to be followed to get registered for SNAP
SNAP Selection Procedure
SNAP Score will be declared as a percentile to all
candidates.
Section wise percentage scores (as a percentage of the
highest score in the section and not as a percentage of the maximum marks of
the section) will be given to all candidates.
SNAP exam will be the first stage of selection; candidates
who get qualified through SNAP will go through the other selection procedures
like Group Exercise, Personal Interview before they get selected.

SNAP Exam Pattern
SNAP is the first step, in the process of getting selected to the
post graduate programs conducted by Symbiosis Institute, SNAP exam evaluated
the candidates in various sections like English knowledge, Quantitative,
Analytical and Logical reasoning, and finally tests the general knowledge and
awareness of the candidate.
SNAP exam contains 150 objective type questions for duration of two hours (120 Minutes).

The questions are of multiple choice type, each question has
4 options, the candidate should select the answer most appropriate to the
questions.
